Commercial imagery, brand content, new media marketing and AI creative practice
I’m based in Shenzhen. I’ve worked in production and led content teams on the brand side.
On a film, I think about whose point of view we follow, which action is worth holding and when the product should appear. Lighting, performance and editing need to come back to those specific questions.
I also spend time with AI, trying images, making previs and organising the work. Choosing the image or keeping a shot still takes a judgement of my own.
Experience
Co-founded and helped run a production business in Shenzhen, working in directing, planning and production.
Co-initiated Xingyi Photography Space and took part in its development, partnerships and operations planning.
Worked in producing, directing, business development and promotion.
Progressed from digital-media supervisor to deputy manager and creative director, with responsibility for new-media content, creative production and team management, including campaign collaboration.
Provided planning, producing and directing support for brands and agencies.
Continuing work through ONCE and U-STUDIO, alongside looking at how AI can be used in creative work.
