Video Delivery Checklist

Tools

Check picture, captions and sound, then watch the file on its intended screen.

An export reaching 100% is not quite the end. I would review the exact file that is about to be delivered.

Picture and captions

Play it from beginning to end. Look for black frames, flashes at transitions and an unintended final frame. Read product names, model numbers, personal names and credits carefully.

Review each aspect ratio and language separately. Small packaging text and subtitle margins need checking at the size people will actually see.

Sound

Listen on headphones and check key passages on the intended playback device. Listen for clear dialogue, music masking the voice and abrupt edits.

If delivery includes a clean picture version, a music-only version or separate tracks, check those files individually.

Test its intended use

Watch a website film in a phone browser. Send an event film to the playback team for a test. Match encoding and audio to the recipient's requirements rather than assuming one export preset suits every use.

Identify the delivery

Include the title, aspect ratio, language and version in the filename. Explain what each file is for and which earlier version it replaces.

FFmpeg can help with media processing and inspection. Reviewing AI Product Shots covers product-specific checks.
