I’m building this website to give the films and ideas somewhere convenient to live.
Some visitors want to watch work, some want to know about my experience, and others only need a spreadsheet. If every page repeats the service introduction, the useful material is easy to lose.
Content
Work pages put the film first and explain my role. The blog makes room for longer thoughts. Tables and methods that I can share go in Tools.
Earlier projects retain the roles and organisations they belonged to. ONCE’s team work is identified separately. Many people contribute to a project, so credits need to be specific.
ONCE
This site is a way to get to know how I work. For a film, brand content or a production team, ONCE is the contact point.
The two sites do not need to repeat the same introduction. Relevant links are enough: a route from a film to Contact, or from an article to the film and tool it mentions.
Updates
New work and ideas can be added as they develop. Chinese and English can use different wording, with the same roles, dates and file versions.
I want to be able to update it as the work develops, without repackaging everything each time. Personal and Company Websites explains the thinking behind that.
